Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer

Epoxy zinc phosphate primer is a two-component anti-corrosion coating using polyamide-cured modified epoxy resin as the main film-forming substance and zinc phosphate as anti-corrosive pigment, featuring excellent corrosion resistance, good surface adaptability and sanding properties.

Suitable for anti-corrosion priming or intermediate coating on various steel structures, construction machinery, and equipment surfaces.


 

Product Features


Zinc phosphate, as an anti-corrosive pigment, exhibits excellent rust prevention performance and can effectively prevent metal corrosion.

With superior anti-corrosion properties, it effectively blocks corrosive media from attacking metal substrates, extending the service life of metal surfaces.

Excellent surface adaptability enables strong adhesion to various metal surfaces with high compatibility. The coating is easy to sand, facilitating construction operations.

Application Scope


Epoxy Zinc Phosphate Primer is widely used as anti-corrosion primer or intermediate coating on various steel structures, machinery and equipment surfaces.

Including: petrochemical tanks, pipelines, valves, power transmission towers, substations, ship hulls, decks, cabins, steel bridges, buildings, doors and windows, mechanical vehicles, machine tools, etc.

Surface Preparation 

    Steel surfaces to be coated must undergo complete removal of oil, oxide scale, rust, and old coatings through blasting or shot peening to achieve Swedish standard Sa2.5 with a surface profile of 30–70μm. Manual cleaning methods may also be used to achieve Swedish standard St3 with a surface profile of 30–70μm.

 

Safety Measures          

    

    1. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

    2. If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water or an appropriate cleaning agent. If paint comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.  

    3. Ensure good ventilation.

    4.The paint contains flammable substances. Keep away from sparks and prohibit smoking in the vicinity.  

    5. Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site.

 

Storage

    Store in a dry and cool environment, away from heat sources and open flames. Keep the container tightly sealed.

    Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production (at 25°C).
