1.Water Conveyance Pipelines
The exterior walls of outdoor-installed water conveyance pipelines are typically exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight, while the internal flow of water can cause condensation on the outer surface. Therefore, the coating must exhibit excellent water resistance and weather resistance. The interior walls of the pipeline are subjected to the impact of flowing water at a certain velocity, as well as damage caused by impurities such as sand, dissolved oxygen, salt ions, and other substances present in the water. This requires the coating film to possess high water resistance, acid resistance, and abrasion resistance. Below, we will introduce the coating systems for newly constructed water pipelines under different environmental conditions.

2.Coating System for Seawater Intake Pipelines
Nuclear power plants and some thermal power plants use seawater as a cooling medium. In addition to corrosion issues, the interior surfaces of seawater intake pipelines can experience a significant buildup of marine organisms, leading to a reduction in inner diameter, increased flow resistance, and ultimately a decline in cooling efficiency, which affects power generation capacity. Therefore, when designing the coating system, it is essential to use both anti-corrosion coatings and specialized anti-fouling coatings.
