Metal Fluorocarbon Paint, also known as Fluorocarbon Metallic Paint, is a two-component high-performance coating primarily composed of fluorocarbon resin as the main film-forming substance. It boasts exceptional weather resistance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance, along with outstanding decorative properties.

This paint is suitable for anti-corrosion and decorative coating on various metal surfaces, particularly for components that require a metallic aesthetic effect, such as building curtain walls, doors and windows, railings, municipal sculptures, and more.


Product Features


Weather Resistance: Capable of effectively withstanding the impacts of harsh environmental factors such as wind, rain, ultraviolet rays, and acid rain. It maintains long-lasting brightness and color, with a service life of over 15 years.

Chemical Resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis, salt spray, and solvents, making it suitable for extremely demanding chemical environments.

Self-Cleaning and Anti-Fouling Properties: The molecular structure of fluorocarbon paint has an extremely low surface energy, resulting in a very smooth surface that is less prone to dust and dirt adhesion.

Corrosion Resistance: Effectively blocks corrosive media from eroding the metal substrate, extending the service life of metal surfaces.

Decorative Properties: Can be formulated to achieve various metallic effects with high gloss and outstanding decorative appeal, enhancing the texture and aesthetic quality of the coating.

For use in harsh environments, such as high humidity and strong corrosion, it is recommended to select a coating system with excellent weather resistance, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and salt spray resistance.For use in general environments, a coating system with good weather resistance, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and salt spray resistance can be chosen.

                                            For Steel Structures:Primer: Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer or Inorganic Zinc-Rich Primer.Topcoat: Chlorinated Rubber Paint

For Aluminum Alloy:Primer: Zinc Phosphate Primer or Epoxy Primer for Light Metals.Topcoat: Chlorinated Rubber Paint

   Mixing: Thoroughly mix using power tools or manual tools until uniform.

   Mixing Ratio: Base/ Hardener = 10/1 (by weight)

   Application Methods: Airless spraying, air spraying, brushing, or rolling (specialized).

Surface Preparation:

The steel surface to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, scale, rust, and old coatings. This can be achieved through shot blasting or sandblasting methods to meet the Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5, with a roughness of 30~70μm. Alternatively, manual rust removal methods can be used to meet the Swedish rust removal standard St3, with a roughness of 30~70μm.

 

Safety Measures:

  

    1、Avoid contact with skin and eyes.        

    2、If paint comes into contact with skin, wash with warm water or an appropriate cleaning agent. If paint comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.  

    3、Ensure adequate ventilation.  

    4、The paint contains flammable substances. Keep away from sparks and prohibit smoking in the vicinity.

    5、Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site.

 

Storage:

    

    Store in a dry and cool environment, away from heat sources and open flames. Keep the container tightly sealed.


    Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production (at 25°C).
